RésuméUne monographie consacrée à Eugène Boudin, peintre normand du XIXe siècle et à son intérêt pour la ville du Havre. La municipalité lui offrit une bourse pour perfectionner son art auprès des maîtres parisiens. En échange il lui est demandé de fournir une oeuvre chaque année au musée de la ville.
